With so many items to choose from and so many places to look, it can sometimes be overwhelming.
Here are ways to find what you are looking for:
• Search the Library Catalogue online from home or at any Library location; you can search by keyword, title, author, or subject. More search options are available in advanced search.
• Ask a Librarian for help by phone or e-mail.
• Ask for help in person page from staff members at any Library location.
• Browse our What's New list or our Blogs for suggestions, new and/or popular books, DVDs, and CDs for adults, children and teens.
If you are too busy to return your items on time or you just aren’t ready to part with them, you can extend the loan period.
Items can be renewed twice, as long as they are not overdue, on reserve for other library borrowers or you owe $15 or more in fines.
To renew items online you will need your library card and a pin number.
1. Go to Catalogue 2. Enter your library borrower card number in the marked box ID and pin on the left hand side. Enter your pin number (please note these are case sensitive) 3. Click login 4. Click on the currents loan link 5. Select the items you wish to renew and click on Renew selections 6. If you wish to renew all items click on Renew All 7. Remember to click Logout if your are using a public PC.
Staff can renew your loans at either Camden or Narellan Library. You do not need to bring your books to the Library to have them renewed.
During Opening Hours: Telephone the Library on 4645 5039 or 4654 7951 during opening hours to renew your loans. Please note your new due date.
All items not immediately available can be reserved for a charge of $1.10 which must be paid when the reserve is collected. You will be notified when the reserved item is available.
To reserve online you will need your library card and your PIN number 1. Go to Catalogue 2. Search for your item 3. Select the items you wish to reserve by checking box on left 4. Click reserve selections located at the bottom of the page 5. Enter your borrower number located on your library card and your pin 6. Select the library you would like to pick the item up from 7. Click submit
Reservations can also be placed over the phone or at the information desk of either Camden or Narellan libraries.
If the Library doesn't own an item you want, you may be able to borrow it from another library through an Interlibrary Loan or if you think it would be useful to have in the library you can make a Suggestion for Purchase.
