There are lots of ways to learn about technology in the library.
The Space Digital Studios
Provides basic and specialist courses. Providing a wide range of workshops that change all the time, but may include, introduction to computers, photoshop, iPad basic and email. Check out the Space page for more details and the BOOKINGS link to register for workshops
The library has a number of volunteer tutors who can provide one to one help in basic computer skills. Places are limited and bookings essential. Please contact us for availabilty and bookings
Open house sessions
Want to check out a range of eReaders, need access to photoshop and editing software, want to use your recording equipment in a soundproof studio? All these things are possible at our Space open house sessions. We open the doors and let you play - teach yourself or practice your skills. No bookings required at present. Come along and explore.
Distance Education Students
We know that studying by distance education is hard. We can help you to access books and journal articles from universities via our interlibrary loans service. We also provide limited exam supervision to students, please contact the library to check availability and make a booking.
