Our Local Studies section covers all aspects of the Camden local area. Whether you’re looking for current events or items of historical significance we have information on Camden’s people and places including social, environmental and conservation issues, built and natural environments, local buildings, businesses and organisations, churches and schools.

Camden Images: Past and present website contains nearly 3,000 local images. More images are online at Trove. Camden Library has formed the group Changing faces and places of Camden NSW on Flickr where you can view images and add your own photos.

A wonderful program for the National Trust Heritage Festival April/May 2013 was a great success. Plans are now underway for History Week 7-15 September with the theme 'Picture This'. The program will include a photographic exhibition 'Beach, bush & battlers' on show at Camden Library during September.

Camden Voices Online is a website containing audio extracts of oral histories by local people.
