The library has some items you may not have thought would be available for loan. All items are free to borrow by members of the library.

Telescope Collection  

Explore the night sky with our Celestron AstroMaster LT 70AZ refractor telescopes. We have 6 new telescopes now available for loan. These must be borrowed on an adults library card, and returned to the location where they were borrowed. 

Spark Discovery Kits

We are excited to announce we have some great new Spark Discovery Kits. For all those budding scientists out there we have a range of science and nature kits available for loan. Aimed at children between 5-12 years of age. 

Home Energy Efficient Kits 

Would you like help in reducing your electricity bills? Camden Libraries can help you!

Home Energy Efficiency Kits are now available for loan.

The kits contain a set of simple instruments to help you assess the efficiency of your home.

  • Power Mate Lite – provides measures of power consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Economy non-contact thermometer – a safe way to measure temperatures in hard to reach, hot or hazardous areas.
  • Energy efficiency indicator thermometer – handy thermometer to check your appliances are running at optimal temperatures.
  • Water flow measuring cup – test the flow rate of your water outlets.
